Artist Statement

Art is a way for me to interpret what is merely seen.  When creating
there is intense communion between me and the subject.  I
especially love to paint water.  Water heals, water calms, water
erodes, water has potential to destroy or bring to life.

When I'm painting, I'm able to follow or break any rules at  will.  I find
passion and pleasure in the feel of the pastels, the smell of the
paints; the play of colors on the canvas; how color and line define
space, in a constantly evolving picture.
Island Made Gifts
The gallery is currently housed in an old historic church which is located on
Route 2 in the town of North Hero, VT.
